Elmwood Zoo

Katie took her first trip to Elmwood Zoo today. It is a great little zoo about 10 minutes from our house. It was a beautiful day out. She loved seeing the animals and waving to them. Thanks to Grandpa for her early birthday gift!

9 Months

Katie is 9 months. She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on the furniture. Her bottom teeth have come through as have her top teeth. She continues to be a happy little girl...let's hope that continues into her teen years! Katie is weighing in at 20.12 lbs and is 28 1/2" long.. both in the 90%. Her head is 18 1/4" which puts her in the 98%... That big ol' noggin better have lots of brains in there.

Reading

Katie has decided she is an early reader. Loves getting to the magazines for a little light reading.

Welcome Simone Gloria

Doug and Autumn welcomed Simone Gloria on February 24 at 9:14 pm. She weighed in at 6.2 lbs and was 20.5 inches long. Katie can't wait to meet her new cousin at the end of March. Congrats to Doug and Autumn!

Swimming

Katie is in her second round of swimming lessons. We are trying a new place.. the water is much warmer for mommy (90 degrees). Katie loves being in the water. The picture quality isn't great as the pictures are taken through a frosted glass. Will try for better ones next week.

Our New Additon

I think by now everyone knows we are expecting a new baby on August 30. We used the bib on Katie as a way of announcing. We are very excited and Katie can't wait to be a big sister...so we keep telling her!
