Baby or Dog??

Katie couldn't decide if she was a dog or a baby.  She loved playing in the water bowl for Brody and Lulu.. even tried drinking like the dogs.  Katie also decided she would see what it was like to try out the doggie door.  She liked opening and shutting the crate door, but wouldn't go in.  Do we see a visit from Children and Youth???

Memorial Day Fun!

We had a very nice Memorial Day weekend.  We went for a walk at Valley Green and Katie met her new friend Sonny. He was such a gentle horse and she loved petting him.  With the warm weather the pool is finally ready for swimming.

Philadelphia Zoo

Katie made her first trip to the Philly Zoo with her friend Ryan. We had our own personal tour guide. My friend Barb, a former teacher, now is a docent at the zoo. It was a beautiful day and we got to see lots of animals.

Springtime Fun!

Even though the pool is open, it is still a little too cold to swim.  So, we bought Katie a water table. She loves the water and had a blast playing.  She also decided that walking on all 4s was better than crawling.  She managed to get filthy climbing up and down the step on the porch... but she had fun!

11 months old

Katie is 11 months.  She is cruising around and babbling all the time.  She loves her food! She will eat anything you put in front of her. She loves to look at books.. couldn't decide which book to read.  I can't believe she will be a year in a month! It is also getting very difficult to get good pictures.

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter at Nannie's house. There was an egg hunt and lots of Easter baskets for Katie. She loved playing with the eggs she found. And nothing says Happy Easter like a Phillies Easter cake from Clays!

Los Angeles

Katie and I had a great trip out to LA. We met Simone and got to see Will and Elly as well. She did great on the plane too! We went to the beach, although she didn't go in the water. The Pacific is freezing. She walked Runyon Canyon and sat by the pool where Mike and Patti were staying. She loved Lola and Frankie, Doug and Autumn's dogs.
