Springtime Fun!

Even though the pool is open, it is still a little too cold to swim.  So, we bought Katie a water table. She loves the water and had a blast playing.  She also decided that walking on all 4s was better than crawling.  She managed to get filthy climbing up and down the step on the porch... but she had fun!

11 months old

Katie is 11 months.  She is cruising around and babbling all the time.  She loves her food! She will eat anything you put in front of her. She loves to look at books.. couldn't decide which book to read.  I can't believe she will be a year in a month! It is also getting very difficult to get good pictures.

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter at Nannie's house. There was an egg hunt and lots of Easter baskets for Katie. She loved playing with the eggs she found. And nothing says Happy Easter like a Phillies Easter cake from Clays!

Los Angeles

Katie and I had a great trip out to LA. We met Simone and got to see Will and Elly as well. She did great on the plane too! We went to the beach, although she didn't go in the water. The Pacific is freezing. She walked Runyon Canyon and sat by the pool where Mike and Patti were staying. She loved Lola and Frankie, Doug and Autumn's dogs.

Elmwood Zoo

Katie took her first trip to Elmwood Zoo today. It is a great little zoo about 10 minutes from our house. It was a beautiful day out. She loved seeing the animals and waving to them. Thanks to Grandpa for her early birthday gift!

9 Months

Katie is 9 months. She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on the furniture. Her bottom teeth have come through as have her top teeth. She continues to be a happy little girl...let's hope that continues into her teen years! Katie is weighing in at 20.12 lbs and is 28 1/2" long.. both in the 90%. Her head is 18 1/4" which puts her in the 98%... That big ol' noggin better have lots of brains in there.
