Julia Perkins Miller

We welcomed Julia Perkins on August 23, 2012.  She was 9lbs 3oz and 20 1/2 inches long. So far she has been a well behaved baby.  Katie came to the hospital to visit her little sister and gave her a huge smile.  I am excited that they will have each other as they grow. Henry and Eva came to visit Julia as well.  They will make great babysitters in the future.

Walking

Well, it looks like our little girl isn't so little anymore. She is walking. Still a little wobbly but getting up and getting those little feet moving. She loves wearing her new sneakers.  At least this will help with the new one coming. I won't be carrying her and the baby. 

Mommy's Helper

We took out the swing and the pack and play to get ready for Baby M!  Katie loved playing with the swing. She is practicing to be my helper with her baby.  We will definately need to keep an eye on Katie.. she pushes the swing a little too hard.

Hmm.. quite the look!

Katie was going for quite the look today.  Her t-shirt is stained with strawberries, no pants and she insists on wearing her new shoes.  The added touch is the sunglasses and Vera Bradley purse.  Funny that she won't wear her own sunglasses, but she will wear my old ones.  Loves carrying her purse too!  Such a girl!

Atlanta Grimes Visit

Patti, Will and Elly came for a visit before they leave for Toronto.  Katie had a blast with her cousins and they were great babysitters.  She loved playing with them and spending time in the pool.  Grandpa also came down for a visit. Katie wasn't real happy to have her picture taken for the group shot.

Baby Shower for Baby M

Ward's group threw a little baby shower for Baby M.  They were kind enough to invite me and Katie to the shower. Ward guessed about the shower, but didn't know we would be there.  Katie loved playing with the balloons...much more than I think she will like her new sibling.  Katie was trying out one of the new products for Campbells.

Ocean City, NJ

Many thanks to the Drumbore/Katarynick clan for having me and Katie down to the beach for a few days.  Katie had a blast playing with Eva and Henry.  She really enjoyed the beach too. For some reason she didn't eat the dry sand, but felt the need to eat the wet sand.  Big difference between this year on the beach and last year. Last year she was only 3 months old and she slept the entire time she was on the beach.
