The Park

Katie and I took advantage of the beautiful weather. We went across the street to the park. Katie got to experience her first ride on the swings and her first ride on the slide. She loved both. As you can see, she is gifted.. she knew to hold onto the swings.

Crawling

Katie has begun crawling. She doesn't look pretty, but she gets where she wants to be.. usually pulling at the computer cord or reaching for something else she shouldn't have.

New Teeth

Katie got her two bottom teeth in this weekend. She was actually pretty good with the process. She needed to try out her new teeth with mommy's pizza crust.

Swimming Lessons

Katie is taking "swimming lessons." She loved the water and didn't mind that it was freezing, like I did. Hopefully she will be quite the little fish this summer in the pool.

Washington DC

Katie wasn't so impressed with the large dinosaur at the Natural History Museum. Got a beautiful picture of the Washington Monument.

Arlington/DC

Katie and I went to Arlington, VA for the burial of Ad Harper (my mom's uncle). Ad had a military burial at Arlington. It was a beautiful service. Katie got to meet her 3rd cousins as well. The one picture is of the Harper Clan. Julie and Debbie were my mom's cousins. My grandmother (Nanny) and their mother were sisters. We also visited the Natural History Museum and got a great shot of the Washington Monument. We had a wonderful time with all the Harpers and were so glad they included us in the weekend.

7 Months

We can hardly believe that Katie is 7 months old. She isn't quite crawling, but really trying. She is up on all 4s rocking away. She rolls wherever she needs to get. We are starting swim lessons on Thursday so she is already for the pool this summer. Getting a picture was not easy.

The Rose Bowl

Katie couldn't be at the Rose Bowl, but she could support her Grandpa's alma mater. She has realized that when she wears her green duck shirt, they win.. the grey one... not so much. GO DUCKS!
